How long does it take to apply paint protection film?

Typically, it takes around two hours to apply PPF to a small car, and four hours to apply PPF to a large car. However, this time can vary depending on the size of the car and the installer’s experience. Additionally, some installers may charge more for complicated installations, such as those involving curves or intricate patterns.

Are there any special care instructions for paint protection film?

If you’ve decided to have paint protection film applied to your vehicle, congratulations! You’ve made an excellent choice that will help keep your car’s paint looking great for years to come. But what does that mean for you, in terms of care and maintenance? Here are a few things to keep in mind. First, while the film itself is quite durable, it can be susceptible to scratches and other damage if not treated with care. Be sure to wash your car regularly, using a mild soap and avoiding any abrasive cleaners or scrubbers. When parking, take care not to park too close to other vehicles or objects that could scratch the film. Finally, don’t forget that the film will eventually need to be replaced – typically after 5-7 years. With just a little bit of care, you can enjoy many trouble-free years with your paint protection film.

What happens if the film gets scratched?

If the ppg is not installed correctly, it can be scratched. When the car is driven, if the ppg is installed too near to the paint’s edge, it can get chipped or scraped. Even a minor scratch on the finish might cause it to yellow over time and make removing the ppl more difficult. In addition, scratches may also make it more difficult to remove the ppp when it’s time to replace it. It’s recommended that you install at least a quarter-inch of ppf beyond the paint’s edge for protection against chipping and scratching as well as making removal easier when necessary.

Can paint protection film be removed?
