How long does it take to apply paint protection film?

We do not set a fixed install time before we have seen the paint, the panels you want covered, and any marks that need attention first. Aston Martin car detailing at our shop can include a close inspection and proper cleaning before we begin film work. After nine years and more than 2,000 vehicles protected, we know that rushed prep shows at edges, around badges, and on complex front ends. We agree on the coverage plan before we book the work. Are there any special care instructions for paint protection film?

Vancouver records measurable precipitation on 169.5 days in an average year, so regular washing is part of owning film here. Rinse dirt from the lower doors, rocker panels, and wheel wells before it dries into the film. This matters most after winter trips, when brine from Highway 1 through the Fraser Valley sits in the places you cannot see from above. Do not let tree sap, bird mess, or mineral marks sit through a long wet spell. Dry the car after washing when you can, especially if it parks under cover where drips keep landing in the same spot. How much does Aston Martin PPF cost in Vancouver?

Gleamworks PPF starts at $1,299 for the Light Package, $1,799 for Gold, and $4,699 for full-vehicle Platinum coverage. Light covers the half hood, half fenders, mirrors and front bumper. Gold adds full hood, full fenders and headlights. A DBX needs more material than a Vantage, so these are starting prices. Rockers, door sills and the loading lip are separate add-ons.

Is Aston Martin dealer PPF worth buying?

What are Aston Martin PPF downsides?

The main downsides are cost and preparation time. Film can still take a hard hit, tear or stain, and it does not make an Aston Martin damage-proof. We correct swirls, spider-webbing and oxidation before installation, but correction adds labour where the paint needs it.

How long does Aston Martin PPF last?
