WHAT IS PAINT PROTECTION FILM (CLEAR BRA) ?

PPF is a clear film we fit over the painted areas that meet grit, road spray and light scuffs. Jaguar PPF puts a replaceable layer between the front end and the damage that would otherwise mark original paint. Some drivers still call it a Jaguar clear bra; it means the same type of paint protection film. We stock XPEL, STEK DYNOshield and SunTek in gloss, satin and matte finishes, so the finish can suit the look already on your car. The manufacturer warranty runs up to 9 years; STEK Final Coat makes a 12-year extended warranty available. Film does not make paint immune to impacts or remove washing, but it gives damaged front sections a replaceable surface. How long does it take to apply paint protection film?

Timing follows the panel map, the finish you choose and the condition we see at intake. A front package needs less work than full coverage, but we do not give Jaguar car detailing customers a made-up collection time before we inspect the car. We check the bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors and any add-ons, then set the work plan around clean access to each edge. If you also want a coating for uncovered paint, we can handle paint correction in house before that coating goes on. Bring the car in for an inspection, and we will give you a collection time based on the coverage you select.

Are there any special care instructions for paint protection film?

When water dries on the film, wash away the mineral film rather than letting it bake on the hood or roof.
