WHAT IS CERAMIC COATING?
On the lift, we see a repeated pattern: sap spots, pollen film, and fine wash marks on broad, dark panels. Cedar and fir sap, June cottonwood fluff, and April–May pollen collect on cars parked beneath trees on the North Shore and in Kitsilano. A Rolls-Royce ceramic coating adds a thin, hard sacrificial layer that resists light marring. It does not repair marks already in the paint. The airport records 1,119.2 mm of rain in a year, so residue stays damp, then dries into spots when weather turns. We start with an inspection under proper light. Rolls-Royce paint correction happens in-house, where machine polishing removes swirl marks, spider-webbing, and oxidation before we coat. On a hand-polished, many-coat finish, prep decides what the protective layer will preserve. Ask us to inspect sap marks before choosing the term.
